After a year of waiting, Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds finally hit store shelves today. Being it's on my list of anticipated titles for the year you bet your butt I was gonna be picking it up today. The package from Amazon was sitting on my doorstep when I got home from work and now it safely resides in my console; the disc that is. I'll have some quick impressions of the game play tomorrow but for now, enjoy a few snapshots of the package that arrived from in the mail.
The special edition slipcover is pretty swanky. If you can't see, the characters are etched into it. |
Left: The tie in comic book with character art and promotional art work Right: The front cover of the steel book casing for the game |
So there you have it, Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds Special Edition. Nice goodies for the fans especially the accompanied comic with all the promo art work and even a few pages of fan submitted art. The special edition even comes with a free month of Marvel Digital Comics and codes for the two DLC characters, Jill Valentine and Shuma-Gorath.
